Norcroft Construction Sunderland were contracted to re-construct a communal bin store that had been destroyed by a fire.
The client wanted the bin store to be rebuilt to look exactly the same as the previous one maintaining all of its features.
We started by demolishing the old remaining bin store and clearing the site ready for construction of the new building.
After laying new concrete foundations we set about building a wooden framework which would later be clad in red cedar wood cladding, ideal for outside use due to its durability and waterproof qualities.
Next we constructed a flat roof which we covered in a waterproof membrane.
